Your reports, pins, photos, notes, annotations, and backups stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them. PinReport does not require an account.

What permissions does PinReport need?
PinReport uses When In Use location access for inspection pins and map context, camera access for reference photos, and optional Face ID or Touch ID for app lock. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings.
How will Pro work?
When PinReport launches, Free will include the first three PDF or photo exports. Pro is planned as a $24.99 one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited PDF and geotagged photo exports, note templates, weather capture, and outdoor mode. Family Sharing will follow Apple's rules. The app is not available to download or purchase on the App Store yet.
What should I send if an export looks wrong?
Tell us whether it was a PDF, photo export, or backup export, what you expected to see, and whether the issue happened every time or just once.
Can I restore Pro on another device?
After launch, yes. Use Restore Purchases on a device signed into the same Apple ID that owns the purchase, subject to Apple's rules. PinReport is not on the App Store yet, so there is nothing to restore today.
I was charged but Pro is not active
After App Store launch: try Restore Purchases first, then fully close and reopen the app. If Pro still is not active, email support with the app version, device model, and approximate purchase date. Until launch, PinReport is not available for purchase on the App Store.
Can I get a refund?
After launch, App Store purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select the PinReport purchase. Apple handles refund decisions for App Store transactions. PinReport is not available for purchase yet.
Does weather capture send my location anywhere?
If you turn on weather capture, PinReport may send the current inspection coordinate to Apple through WeatherKit to retrieve current conditions. That feature is optional, off by default, and only stores the returned weather snapshot with the inspection record you saved.
Can I use PinReport without signal?
Your reports, pins, photos, notes, and JSON backups stay on your device, so local capture and review can continue without an account or BitTech server. Live satellite imagery, weather capture, new purchases, and Restore Purchases may be limited until you have a connection again.
